How It All Started
In early 2020, Kim and I were coaching at a local CrossFit affiliate, while guiding some remote clients with online training on the side. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, in-gym training came to an abrupt halt, and the demand for online training exploded.
We saw this as an opportunity to share our passion for functional fitness and reach more people with individualized attention. We were eager to leverage the experience we had gained over years of competing as amateurs and professionals, however we quickly realized that we lacked the platform and tools to deliver quality, 1-on-1 programming at an affordable price.
We wanted to offer a full spectrum of complementary services, so we assembled a team of professionals in the health and fitness field who share our passion for athletic excellence. With this step, we were all in, and Polar Bear Programming was born.
